Atilla the Han asked: I know this may sound like a really bizarre question but I had a handsome all white, long hair male cat who was the love of my life. He had a heart murmur which we discovered when he was very young. The vets thought it would kill him quickly however when we went to a specialist it appeared to have completely disappeared. About 8 years later he became very ill. The vets had no diagnosis but he could not breath and was slowly asphyxiating so we put him down.
After that I heard from a few different people that white male cats were often just fragile and their health often deteriorated suddenly. It doesn’t seem like color or sex would have anything to do with it but it keeps showing up? If anyone has any idea if there is a bit of truth in this I would be interested.

Some people say that for small breed indoor dogs you don’t really have to neuter or spray them. I have a Shih Tzu. I am trying to find out what are some cons I need to know about if I don’t neuter him.
