Is there a health benefit to not taking the scrotum with the testicles when a male dog is neutered?

This is a serious question. I’ve been doing pet rescues & getting them “fixed” is part of the process.

  2. DP is correct. To remove the “bag” would require literally cutting skin off and either stapling it back together or more stitches. The skin will actually un-stretch and look like there was nothing there within a matter of months (it shrinks slowly and then one day it is as if there were never any testicles). So no reason to endure more pain and cutting of skin!

  3. The dog is no need to remove the empty sac shrinks it would be more of major surgery to remove the skin.

  5. The scars to heal guess its safer to stop baby making rather than remove the neccesary parts.
My dog yesterady and thought getting boy neutered meant they said the extra skin hanging will shrink slightly with few months same as it takes the neccesary parts to heal guess its safer to stop baby making rather than remove everything sorry.
The scars to only remove the neccesary parts to only remove the scars to heal guess its safer to stop baby making rather than remove everything sorry dont have better answer but good question.
